Students and Teachers concerts will be held from 3-5 pm on Sunday.
There will be two types of participants, Active and Observer/visitor. All students, Actives as well as Observers/Visitors, are asked to bring their flutes and participate in the warm-up classes. Every morning professor Hideko Amano will lead a warm up class. Also for interested students there will be flute choir reading. The Masterclasses will last 30 minutes and are aimed at students who will be pre-selected, by submitting a short bio and a recording. The repertoire choice for the recording is free and the recording can be between 3-7 minutes long.
Deadline for submissions will be May 15th. The submission will include a deposit of $100 together with the recording*
Selected performers will be notified by May 29th.
*For the participants interested in being Active and playing in one of the Masterclasses
FEES
Observer/Visitor fee includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday Morning Warm ups, Flute choir participation, listening the masterclasses and attending the concerts Sunday afternoon: $175 Active participant fee includes Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Warm Ups, Playing one Masterclass, separate coaching with pianist and possible concert participation: $325 REGISTER
